Once you’ve earned it, you should save some of your money. Here are some ideas to help you save:
When you earn some money, divide it in half. Decide that half is for saving and that half is for spending. If you are saving to buy something special (such as a new bike), you might want to save more than half. Put the half that is for saving in your credit union account.
When you buy something and get change back, put the change in your credit union account. Save it in a special place at home (like a piggybank or even an empty jar) until someone can take you to the credit union.
